Just in time for Cinco de Mayo this weekend, here's my go-to guacamole recipe. It's a great recipe that can be adapted to however many avocados you have. Guacamole sure doesn't photograph well! But I wanted to show off my new guacamole bowl from San Antonio :)
2 avocados
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small tomato (or a handful of grape tomatoes) chopped
1 lime, juiced
kosher salt and pepper
Slice avocados in half; remove pits and scoop avocado flesh into a large bowl and mash. Add garlic and season with lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Optional add-ins:
chopped tomato
chopped onion
cilantro
black beans
