I started making breast cancer awareness jewelry after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago. Usually when someone buys an awareness item from my shop, they share who it's for. It warms my heart reading their stories. It also reminds me how precious life is.
Let's keep fighting for a cure! And remember to take care of yourselves!

Breast Cancer Awareness Jewelry
I originally made a charm necklace for my mom when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the Fall of 2010. Fortunately her cancer was caught early. When people started asking her about her necklace, I began listing them in my ETSY shop.
I receive many touching notes from my customers when it comes to cancer awareness jewelry. It's very heartwarming. ♥

Pink Ribbon Packaging
One of my favorite jewelry items to make is breast cancer awareness jewelry. My customers will usually let me know who they are purchasing it for and it touches my heart to know that it's a way for someone to show a cancer patient they care.
Now all breast cancer awareness jewelry in my ETSY shop will come packaged in a pretty pink ribbon pouch. Fellow ETSY artist Janie made these for me and I think they're the perfect finishing touch! Janie has a lot of other bags and items in her shop, so stop by and check them out! Here is the link to her shop: jmaeson's creations.

New Leather Cord Necklaces
Today was another beautiful sunny day with the temperature in the mid-70's. I took advantage of the warm weather to take pictures of some new necklaces. All are made with genuine leather cord in either brown or black. I hope to get these listed in my etsy shop this week!

Very Special People
I received a request recently for a couple of necklaces for two very special people. My customer was a nursing student and two of her instructors are oncology nurses in a women's breast health center. Obviously I was flattered to be asked to make something so meaningful!
When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last fall, I was over-whelmed with how she was treated by all medical staff - the receptionists, aides, nurses and doctors were incredibly caring and comforting. I couldn't thank them enough for helping my mom recover. These are all very special people!
